THE BRIEF

I was thrilled to be invited to work on the brand identity for an exciting new dining concept, Kitchen In The Wild. This unique venture is a collaboration between renowned celebrity chef Valentine Warner and culinary events specialist Clare Issacs at Sprout. The concept promises far-flung adventures for the culinary curious, with its inaugural launch set for October 2025 in Laikipia, Kenya. The brand needed a flexible identity that would not be tied to any specific location, as the vision is for the kitchen to travel to new and diverse areas over time.

THE OUTCOME

The project required a versatile set of marks and logos that could be adapted in various ways. The final logo features an Arctic Tern, a bird renowned for its extensive annual migration—a fitting symbol for the kitchen’s ever-changing locations. To create this unique mark, I began with traditional, hand-crafted techniques, which allowed for a more organic feel that simply can’t be replicated digitally. I then digitised the design to produce a one-of-a-kind icon.

Testimonial

Anthony is a total joy to work with… swift, time efficient and charming. Mood boards arrived quickly and with absolute acceptance he came back just as fast when we asked for more. He totally grasped what we were asking for and we were delighted with the results. I’d definitely now use him repeatedly while just as happy to recommend him to others. Whole job was calm and enjoyable and many thanks too to that person who introduced me to him!’
